How 2015 Started Off With A Bang At Siloso Beach Party

People around the globe have different ways of ushering in the new year. Watching a giant ball drop in New York, attending some new year's eve concert or just plain spending time with family. Me on the other hand, enjoys big festivities such as a giant party, and that was why I was glad to return to the Siloso Beach Party for the second time this year last year. Many thanks to Sentosa for kindly inviting me back again to one of Asia's biggest countdown party, held right here in Singapore.

This year, the entire atmosphere feels so much more festive with a total of more than 15 000 party goers gathering across the 1.2 kilometre Siloso beach at Sentosa. That's a lot of people, like more than what you can find on Orchard road on public holidays. Spanning across a period of twelve hours with 20 international DJs filling in the scene, and five different party zones, there is enough fun going around to satisfy even the most ardent party animal.

Of course, aside from the different Siloso beach bars and attractions (like Wavehouse and Bikini Bar), the main attraction of the whole event was definitely the main arena and the foam pool.

This year's party had performers spicing up the atmosphere as well, with the National Danish Performance Team putting up an dazzling performance for the crowd to enjoy. There were acrobatics, fire breathing and a whole bunch of crazy stunt moves put up by the group. It was definitely an eye catching prelude to fireworks at midnight.

Personally for myself, it was the fireworks display that I enjoyed the most. I don't know about you, but looking at the fireworks going off at the sky above you, with the feeling from the sandy beach beneath your feet and adrenaline pumping music rocking the air around you, was definitely the highlight of the show. The perfect close off to the year.

I liked how the different party zones offered different types of ambience to party goers, with different genre of music from trance, electric, house and trap. There was something for everyone, from energetic dance beats to more slow and relaxing music.

Fireworks, alcohol, great music and sandy beach to welcome the new year? Definitely the best way to welcome the new year in. And definitely going to do it again.
